Love your children unconditionally
No matter what they do
Express your feelings constructively
Encouraging to be pure and true
Without criticizing their past
Live happily in the present
Don't be anxious about their future
Trust God and be content
Clearly set appropriate boundaries
To make your children responsible
While enforcing them reasonably
Help them overcome life's battle
Take courage to stand firm
Without giving up when they wail
If we change our minds to yield
To be good parents we fail.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11
